Cross County Center Directory Map

Cross County Center in Yonkers, New York is a popular shopping mall, hence I made this interactive map that helps shoppers find stores and navigate through the whole place without randomly wandering.

The map clearly shows where all the stores and restaurants in the center are.

Do you want to find a particular store? Up in the upper left corner of the map, the search bar makes that very easy, simply type the name and it will appear immediately.

How To Use This Cross County Center Directory Map

For those that do not have a clear target in mind, browsing through the different categories is a good way to explore everything that is offered. Zooming in on any part of the map is simple: hover the mouse over the area and use the scroll wheel.

You can also zoom in and out using buttons in the bottom right corner, and a full screen option gives a much better overview of the whole plan.

Cross County Center is set up as an outdoor shopping destination, so each store is on one single level, but I did added Level L-1 and L2 in this map. There are not much stores in these two levels, most stores are located at L1 as per the map shown. And that makes navigation quite a lot easier.

If you click a store pin on the map, extra information about that specific store appears, so you can easily see what is available before you come. Located in Yonkers, Cross County Center is only a short distance from the Bronx and Manhattan… So reaching it from New York is really easy.

That open layout gives the whole experience a totally different feeling compared with most shopping centers in the region. Macy’s anchors the whole center, but the building itself has quite an interesting history.

When the center first opened its doors, the place actually belonged to Gimbels. John Wanamaker was also part of the original lineup. Over the years though, Gimbels gave way to Macy’s, and a parking garage was added along the south side.

The building went through big changes over the decades. Cross County Center has existed since the mid 1950s, which makes it one of the older malls in the region. The center managed to continuously refresh its tenants and introduce new amenities over time.

With more then eighty stores and restaurants in Cross County Center, there is no lack of choices. Big names like Zara, H&M, Pandora, and Old Navy all are here. Right beside Old Navy is Sterling Optics; useful for anyone that needs eye care services.

The hotel Hyatt Place also sits on the same grounds, which makes it a good option for out of town visitors looking for a place to stay. Between shopping, food and nearby accommodation, the center works as something more than an average retail place.

Parking costs nothing, and that is a big plus. That really helps families or anybody planning to spend some hours browsing stores and grabbing something to eat. Also, play areas for children are spread through the center, giving kids a place to spend energy while the adults comfortably shop.

During the year the center arranges seasonal events, and it also hosts various other activities and fun opportunities… Including a local cinema. Anyone with questions before a trip can contact guest services by phone. The main office is located right in the center itself.

When it rains hard or is icy though, walking between stores outside is much less comfortable than walking through a closed mall. Honestly, that is almost the only downside of the whole place.

Millions of shoppers pass through Cross County Center every year, and that makes it one of the most popular retail and fun destinations in the region. Folks from all of Westchester County and from neighboring parts of New York consider it there usual spot.

Food here goes much further than the usual fast food chains. A good mix of restaurants is right beside the stores, so it is easy to turn a quick trip into an all day outing.

The full directory lists every restaurant for anyone wanting to explore all choices. The center regularly puts out updates about sales and events, so a quick look at the directory before can mean finding some good deals.

Note that this map shows the layout as it was when it was put together. Because stores tend to move sometimes, updates will be made when changes happen.
