Opry Mills ranks among the most popular shopping places in Nashville. It is a large single-level center in Music Valley, Nashville, Tennessee, on the grounds of the former Opryland USA, beside the Cumberland River, between Two Rivers Parkway and McGavock Pike.

The center is known for its huge range of brands, dining spots and entertainment options. It houses many stores, restaurants and cafes. In the food court there are plenty of food options, and throughout the mall there are several restuarants to grab a bite.

One cool thing about Opry Mills is the rich history of the place. Before the shopping center existed, here was an amusement park. Under the ground pieces of old park rides are still being found, which sounds wild.

Gaylord Opryland Hotel and convention center sits nearby, but does not belong to the mall. The area changed a lot over the years, and the center replaced the prior attraction.

In Opry Mills there is a Bass Pro outdoor store with fish tanks, that are fun to check out. Nike Factory Store offers good outlet options. For children there is a carousel, toy stores and candy shops everywhere.

So it goes beyond just shopping, it works for whole family entertainment.

Opry Mills has many stores and restaurants. From major anchor stores to specialty shops, it attracts a crowd. Compared too some other privately owned places, here everything is well organized.

Nearby are also cool spots. Madame Tussauds Nashville sits right in Opry Mills, which gives another reason to visit. The whole Music Valley area is full of events, so one trip easily turns into a full day out.

The center sometimes seems calm depending on the time of day. One called it lively, but it nearly empties for a couple of hours, then sharply picks back up. It works well for those that like a calm shopping time.

Opry Mills opens almost daily with hours that make it easy to plan. On Sundays it closes a bit earlier than the rest of the week. Always check the schedule ahead of time, especially around holidays.

The place is a fair distance from Nashville International Airport and a bit further from downtown Nashville. Getting there by car is easy, and directions are available online or in map apps.

This directory map is accurate at the time of creating, but because stores change, it will receive updates. Bookmarkthis page to easily check before your next trip.
