Through the years the center saw stores come and go. For instance, a jewelry store closed for a while. Jo-Ann Fabrics opened in a planned space.
Not long later appeared White House Black Market, Buckle and Texas Roadhouse at The Shoppes at River Crossing. Later closed Christopher & Banks together with their CJ Banks store.
Although the choice of stores is big, prices can be a bit high compared to local options. However the whole feel of The Shoppes at River Crossing benefits from a focus on high quality and customer happiness. Probably it is the only place in Middle Georgia where shopping truly please many folks.
The center has enough stores and restaurants to check out. It is a big space for shopping and meals, all in one spot. The open-air layout is different from typical closed malls, which is a nice change.
