How To Use This West Town Mall Directory Map
West Town Mall is anchored by Dillard’s, Belk, Dick’s House of Sport, and JCPenney. Those big stores stand at different ends of the mall and attract many custmomers.
It opened in the early 1970s. Located in the west part of Knoxville, in the West Hills neighborhood, beside Interstates 40/75 and Kingston Pike. Initially it was one level, but later grew a lot. It belongs to Simon Property, one of the big mall companies.

West Town Mall is seen as the main shopping place in East Tennessee. It has more than 150 stores, and more than 40 are exclusive to the Knoxville area. That gives a great mix that is hard to find anywhere close.
Besides the anchor stores, there are good brand shops and eateries like Apple, The Cheesecake Factory, Loco Burro, Cinebarre, Altar’d State, H&M, Bliss, Coach, Vera Bradley, Sephora, Pottery Barn, and Williams-Sonoma. It recently received an update of the inside space. Now it feels fresher than before. Although some think that the stores could use new brands like Crate & Barrel, The Container Store, or Primark, who would fit well with room for more restaurants.
West Town Mall also offers good guest services. The Dining Pavilion has televisions, free charging areas, free WiFi, and a modern play area. Those details make a diffrence, especially for families spending several hours here.
