Fifteen years before Amita Vyas started her spa notion from her home. After three years she opened the first physical store in Brighton. Since then the business expanded to five places across Rochester (four of them now in Brighton), Eastview Mall, Marketplace Mall and Webster.

Changes happen for Amita’s Xpress Spa at Eastview Mall. The spa moves into a 1,286-square-foot space, before used by Gap, what gives more room to Rowan. But that does not happen alone.
The mall itself experiences a big refresh now, where three current tenants move into newly remodeled storefronts. Box Lunch leaves to make place for Fabletics, securing a 2,413-square-foot space between Aeropostale and Lego. According to Mike Kauffman, general managre of the mall, those moves form part of a plan to bring top retailers to Eastview Mall.
Threading has a strong following hear, and not without reason. One client with sensitive skin found, that waxing did not help, it left them irritated and uncomfortable. At 18 someone recommended Amita’s, and since then they stayed loyal, more than 7 years later.
Nobody else touches their brows except Depa, who they consider unmatched in the craft. Another regular client praises the eyebrow threading skills of Debbie. The thing is, that Debbie has such talent, that clients do not need to say what they want, she knows exactly how to make them perfect.
