Bass Pro Shops Outpost at Eastview Mall is the place where outdoor enthusiasts and sportsmen search gear for fishing, hunting, boating, camping and almost any outdoor activity that you can imagine It situates at Layer 1 of Eastview Mall, like this marked on the interactive indoor map of NYCMallPedia, available here on the website. This vast 90,000-square-foot space is being built at Eastview Mall at Route 96, and the big opening is planned for the end of 2026. When it opens, it will be the fifth Bass Pro Shops store in the region. Now, construction teams are in the early stages to convert the old Lord & Taylor store into that new Bass Pro Shops Outpost.
Bass Pro Shops Will Open at Eastview Mall
The procees officially started after the announcement of Bass Pro Shops about its arrival at Eastview Mall in October.
The vision here goes deeper than simply a retail store… It intends to honor the remarkable sporting heritage of the region while it celebrates what makes New York special. The store will mix shopping with entertainment, outdoor education and efforts for conservation.
As every Bass Pro Shops place, this will be custom adapted to reflect the rich sporting traditions of the region and the character of Upstate New York.
Jack Marren, the Town Supervisor of Victor, sees this as more than just filling empty retail space. He considers Bass Pro Shops as a catalyst that will animate the whole mall and will strengthen its status as a great shopping and entertainment destination. The addition will bring fresh energy to Eastview Mall, and local leaders assure that it will strengthen foot traffic and attract toursim in the area.
From the viewpoint of the mall, Bass Pro Shops represents a real chance to restore life to sections of the shopping complex that sat almost empty. Bass Pro Shops inspires outdoor adventures and defends the protection of wildlife since 1972, and it is famous for its great gear for fishing, hunting, boating and camping. And the bonus? You can enter the store directly from the mall.
Bass Pro Shops Outpost will group with other outdoor and sporting retailers in Eastview Mall. Dick’s House of Sport and L.L.Bean are also options in that category. The same floor hosts stores like American Eagle and Ann Taylor.
