After 25 years in NoHo, BONDST opened its second place on Level 5 of Hudson Yards, with wonderful views of Hudson Valley and bigger space. The attractive ‘see and be seen’ sushi restaurant offers a wide range of Japanese inspired foods, from traditional dishes to modern versions like tuna tarts and Japanese Wagyu rib-eyes, while the cocktail bar has popular favorites. It delivers various Asian dishes like dumplings, sushi, Asian grilled meat and sashimi. The new area carries a main dining room, covered terrace, 14-seat bar and 10-seat omakase bar. Whether you enjoy the omakase at the open kitchen or savor the tender bits in the private rooms wrapped by means of rice paper, every trip motivates diners to return. For the opening of the Hudson Yards store, fresh dishes appeared on the menu. That place mixes style with subtle luxury and deliciuos, reliable fare. The brand recently launched its new concept YONO Sushi, that is an elevated dining experience for the everyday folks in motion.

Located on Level 2 of Hudson Yards, MUJI is a Japanese lifestyle brand with minimalist stationery, clothing, domestic stuff, travel accessories and packaged foods. The store has a bit of foods on display and a little cafe, which surprisingly well fits. Everything here is simple and useful, and one genuinely feels that. This MUJI is one of the few single-story, but it is broad space that eases movement. It also hosted an experience before seen in Japan, Singapore and Malaysia: paper cylinders create a forest atmosphere on the fourth floor of The Shops & Restaurants at Hudson Yards, giving visitors a look at the design world of MUJI and highlights of the last 40+ years. The gel pens stay liked; Japanese pens are worth exploring. MUJI finds itself on the Floor of Discovery, beside other first-to-market and experiential brands like Uniqlo and Stance.
